We always knew that the Avengers would beat Thanos in this film and resurrect half of the universe. But this resurrection causes headaches at the MCU and we will try to explain what all the "Infinity snaps" of Endgame mean for the next film Far From Home . If you have not yet seen Endgame you should know several film spoilers follow below. had received clear instructions to bring back all living things kidnapped five years ago when Thanos used his Infinity Gauntlet. Hulk was not supposed to change anything that happened during those five years, which was Tony's condition to participate in the robbery. Before accusing Tony of thinking only of himself and his family, remember that it was the only way. Everything must happen in this order for everyone to come back, whether happy ending or not.

Apply this to the entire universe and not just to the helicopter, and all that makes sense. We also understand why everything that is disappearing does not happen simultaneously. For example, Tony sees everyone disappearing on Titan in stages. This is how he is able to interact with Quill, Strange, and then Peter.
