The very last generic scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home revealed that the real Nick Fury was on a space station with the Skrulls, while the Skrull Talos imitated Fury on Earth then that they were trying to stop Elementals with Mysterio and Spider-Man.
We also learned that there are Skrull dormant cells on Earth. Many fans wonder if some of the characters already present in the MCU could become Skrulls. Well, according to Far From Home co-writer Erik Sommers it is certainly possible! Asked about this in an interview with THR, Sommers said:
"It's certainly possible. We did not write anything in particular and we personally did not plan anything, but I think it opens up a world of exciting possibilities.
The question is whether Marvel will actually play with this idea. Personally, I think they will do it at some point. The end of Far From Home definitely laid the foundation for a version of the script of the comic book Secret Invasion. It certainly will not tell this exact story, but it is not difficult to think that it will result in something deeply inspired.
My question is this: if there are MCU characters that could be revealed to be Skrulls, who do you think they would be !? Which characters are considered Skrull material?
