Ayushmann Khurrana, Dinesh Vijan, accused of cheating, summoned by Mumbai police

The Bollywood actor, Ayushmann Khurrana, and two other people from the Hindi film industry were arrested by Thane police for questioning about a cheating complaint filed against them by a director, said a manager on Tuesday.

The complaint against the trio was sent to Mr. Khurrana, director of the film Amar Kaushik, and producer Dinesh Vijan, one of the main producers of Maddock Films, Sunday by the police station of Kashimira after received the complaint. Kamalkant Nanak Chandra, a 39-year-old filmmaker living in Mira Road, a suburb of Mumbai in Thane District, he said.

The episode dates back to the time when Chandra was working on the screenplay of a film that he was to realize, said the official, citing the complaint.
According to the applicant, he allegedly sent the story script to Khurrana on his WhatsApp number.

The actor Vicky Donor reportedly transmitted this scenario to Kaushik and Vijan and they would have started making a film.

This caused financial loss and mental anguish to Chandra, who felt cheated by the trio, said the official citing the complaint.

He added that the police had called Khurrana and the other two Bollywood personalities to interrogate and know their point of view on the case.

"We want to know their point of view about the complaint, so we sent them a letter asking them to stay in front of the police

" If the actor and the two others do not appear before the police they will be interpreted as meaningless in relation to the complaint and that the necessary steps would be taken insider, he says.

Ayushma is currently preparing for the publication of Article 15 in which he plays the role of a cop.
