WrestlingInc.com confirmed in a report that the masked wrestler was indeed CM Punk, with new details regarding his appearance.
A masked wrestler appeared at The Last Knight event of MKE Wrestling last Friday, doing a race to help Ace Steele defeat Daryck St Holmes by hitting a GTS.
He entered the ring while the referee was lowered and then left the door, not to be seen again, but it was confirmed that the man under the mask was the former WWE champion.
Originally, it was originally intended that Punk remove the mask and reveal themselves, but this plan has obviously changed. Punk was waiting in front of the room in his car before his appearance and left as soon as it arrived.
