It's been several weeks since the Usos appeared in a behind-the-scenes vignette of Smackdown Live, who was wondering who their opponents would be at WrestleMania this year, and we're not close to a real answer.
There was a lot of discussion. recently about a potential defense of the Smackdown Tag Champions Championships against The Hardy Boyz, arguably the biggest WWE team in the modern era, arguably the biggest of any other era. Both teams have actually promoted the match on Twitter, but this weekend, Matt and Jeff were announced for the Royal Battle Memorial André-le-Géant.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reports that the current plan is for the Usos to defend their titles in a fatal match to four. The training, at least before last week's Smackdown recording, was for Cesaro and Sheamus, Aleister Black and Ricochet, Big E and Xavier Woods to also participate in the match as opponents of The Usos. However, Rusev and Nakamura's teams worked with the champions at the weekend's live events, so it's possible to trade them in the match.
Regarding Black and Ricochet, which would seem to be a sure thing for a Meltzer also reports that this match is no longer scheduled for WrestleMania. A segment on Raw may appear this week to launch a new last-minute program with The Revival to get Raw titles on the map for next Sunday.
