Backstage News: Seth Rollins Out of Action and Rewritten at WWE RAW

[ad_1]

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Radio Observer, Seth Rollins was about to do some exercise on this week's WWE RAW, but he was not allowed to compete.

Rollins' status in the ring has forced new rewrites at this week's RAW. script because everyone thought that he would be ready to fight.

As we noted, Rollins has been injured in the back for some time now. Rollins knew that during pay television at the January Royal Rumble, he had to take a leave after this event to heal the back injury. Meltzer noted today that Rollins was having problems with the L7 disc in his back. The injury does not need to be operated, it rests only on rest and probably comes only from wear.

Rollins is about to be allowed to play in the ring, but he could not be for this week's RAW. It was noted that many Rollins segments for RAW this week had to be removed from the series as it had not been cleared. Rollins ended up doing a behind-the-scenes interview with Charly Caruso, but he was originally supposed to be present throughout the series and apparently these shots included an action in the ring.

Rollins is currently scheduled for all upcoming RAW TV events in WrestleMania 35, but it is still not announced for any live event prior to that date. We found how much WWE officials hoped Rollins could rest and heal rather than let him work and make things worse, especially given his position at the top of the WrestleMania map. WWE officials want Rollins to get as close as possible to 100% for the game against WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

Rollins has not played match since the victory over Dean Ambrose at the RAW Post-Rumble Edition of Jan. 28. Some rumors believe that Rollins and Lesnar are physically in Atlanta during Monday's RAW, but Lesnar will not appear, unless it comes as a surprise, as he was struck off the list of this event.
