Bangladesh will send a cricket team to Pakistan for the first time in three years, officials said Thursday after receiving badurances from their counterparts about security.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka jointly organize an Asian Cricket Council tournament next month. while Bangladesh played all his group matches in Karachi.
Most cricket nations have moved away from Pakistan since gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009, killing several people.

The Bangladeshi selection sent for the Asian Cup of Emerging Teams as of December 6 is the first since 2015 to travel to Pakistan.
"We accepted the trip after being badured of security by the Pakistan Cricket Board," said Bangladesh Cricket Board director Nizamuddin Chowdhury.
The council would also send a safety brief with the team, he added.
Bangladesh is part of Group B alongside Pakistan, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates.
Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, India and Oman will play their matches in Colombo, where will be held the semi-finals and the final.
