Higher Ground Productions, The production company Obamas, in partnership with Netflix, unveiled an initial list of projects, including this adaptation, reported by variety.com.
A description of the series reads as follows: "From Lewis, the author of The Big Short and Moneybal l and based on his book The fifth risk: canceling democracy The fifth risk a non-fiction series, will describe the importance of the unannounced work done by the everyday heroes who guide our government and safeguard our nation ".

Other Obama-initiated projects include a biopic about the American reformer Frederick Douglbad and an earlier drama in the world of fashion, written by Callie Khouri.
The content includes several scripted and non-scripted projects, as well as feature films and documentaries for various audiences. This announcement includes seven projects under development in the coming years.
