Bharat's latest Salman Khan poster is out and, with the actor's gaze of the '70s, also gives us a first glimpse of Katrina Kaif's character in the film Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman shared Bharat's new poster and wrote, "If you're dressed like a miner, Katrina is wearing short white and beige pants.
While Salman is dressed as a miner, Katrina wears white and beige pants. There is a map of Kuwait behind the two. It seems that Salman is working on an oil platform.
Earlier in an interview with Mid Day, Katrina stated that her decision to do Bharat had nothing to do with Salman. "I read the script from start to finish in three hours and I immediately called to tell him that I liked him. I realized that there was an opportunity to make extra effort with this character. This has nothing to do with my friendship with Salman or Ali. In fact, Salman did not even call me after the film's signing. We met directly on the set, "she said. Katrina intervened as lead actor after Priyanka Chopra withdrew last year due to her embarrbading marriage.
On Tuesday, Salman revealed his appearance as a circus performer. The 53-year-old actor took a look at his appearance in the 60s; he was seen wearing a white embroidered jacket and a pair of retro style sunglbades. In an earlier poster, he was considered an old man of the 2000s.
Disha Patani, who is also part of the film, is also visible on the poster. Salman subtitled the photo, "Jawaani humari Jaaneman thi!"
According to reports, the actor Dabangg will be presented under five different looks in the film, covering a period of more than 60 years, his story being parallel to that of India after independence .
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is one of the biggest titles of the year. The film stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff in key roles. Earlier, a teaser, unveiled in January, portrayed Salman in several avatars, telling the story of his character's life.
This is Salman's third collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar after Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). The trailer for Bharat will be released on April 24; the film will be released on June 5th.
