What you need to know about the exchange rate during the last quarter
- In July and September, Jio was the market leader in 11 areas in terms of exchange rate . Out of a total of 11 circles, 7 were B circles, while the other 4 were C circles.
- Reliance Jio's total AGR increased by 15.9% in one quarter. Robust growth of 19.9% was observed in circles C. Growth in metros remained stable.
- During the quarter ending in September, Bharti Airtel became the leader in 6 circles. Of a total of 6 circles, 1 in a subway, 3 circles A and 2 circles C.
- The total AGR of Bharti Airtel fell by 3% per quarter. In 7 B & C shears, the AGR dropped by 11%. Strong growth was observed in metros, AGR in Delhi having increased by 20.5% and in Mumbai by 21.6%.
- Vodafone-Idea was the leader in 5 circles – 2 in the subway and in circle and 1 circle.
- Vodafone-Idea's total AGR fell by 6.2% in the last quarter. The company posted strong growth in Delhi, with an average annual growth rate of 27.3%.
