THR reports that the Indian superstar Aamir Khan should play in the film entitled Lal Singh Chadha . The film will be directed by Advait Chandan who had previously directed Khan's musical drama in 2017 entitled Secret Superstar . Khan had this to say in a statement:
"We bought the rights at Paramount. I've always loved Forrest Gump as a script. It's a wonderful story about this character. It's a film of well-being. It's a movie for the whole family. "
I wonder if this remake could really work. I am curious to see how Bollywood adapts the story to its audience. I'm sure it will work very well in India.
