Kangana Ranaut is clearly on fire with her latest release, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi – the film raised 7.15 crores of rupee during the third week of its release and generated a total crore of 91 Rs at the domestic counters, titled towards the Rs 100 crore club. However, the film made with an estimated budget of 125 million rupees still has work to do.

After making a first collection of Rs 8 crore, the film saw an important leap in its first weekend and collected 42.55 million rupees in three days
Manikarnika received mixed responses from critics, but the audience rained love on Kangana's latest film, which also marks his directorial debut. Raja Sen wrote in his account for Hindustan Times: "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi establishes a world in which the woman makes war, while the men dance and make matches. Ranaut is happy in showing men how she behaves, by fencing with expertise running on the backs of horses and on an elephant's. These are comic book cascades, but nothing apart from the Hindi game book, and if they feel more difficult to swallow, we should ask if that is because they are being interpreted by a woman and not by a guy named Akshay or Ajay.

The film, based on the surgical strikes of 2016, breaks all record records – it is the first solo film of Rick 100 crore of Vicky Kaushal, his second biggest hit, Yami Gautam, the biggest hit of all time and was the first release of the movie Bollywood in 2019., which also became the first blockbuster.
