John Abraham's espionage thriller, Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW), begins to idle at the box office. The film faces competition from superhero movie DC Shazam.
Directed by Robbie Grewal, the film is also performed by Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Raghubir Yadav.
After opening his account with Rs 5 crore, the film rose slightly on Saturday with a crore profit of 7 rupees.
Romeo Akbar Walter did not obtain good results in terms of critical reception. The Indian Express movie critic, Shubhra Gupta, described him as dull and awarded him 2 stars. Shubhra wrote, "You can see the tremendous effort being made to create credible backgrounds. Anil George is an excellent arms dealer.
She adds: "Just like Raghubir Yadav, who plays as a battman at the forefront vis-à-vis Abraham. I really appreciated Kher's conscious camp act as a Pakistani soldier with a penchant for pulling the nails of his victims. And Abraham, as the Bond-Bourne desi is well to be a flawless spy, his impbadibility coming to him naturally. "
The last two John Abraham films, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Satyameva Jayate, were both sleep successes that were successful only after several days of their box office.
This could be the case of Romeo Akbar Walter as well, but a large multi-stellar Kalank will be released later this month and could ruin the film's fortune.
