Super 30, with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role of mathematician Anand Kumar, based in Bihar, is on the verge of becoming a hit. The film started Friday at 11.83 billion rupees and experienced an extraordinary growth on Saturday with an increase of nearly 50% of national box office collections.
According to a report published on Boxofficeindia.com, the film's collections for the second day would be about 17 to 18 crores of rupees, bringing the total to 30 crores from Rs. The film had opened higher than Kaabil, Hrithik's latest film.
Taran Adarsh, a film industry badyst, shared the first figures of the film on Twitter. The Super 30 is competing with Kabir Singh by Shahid Kapoor, Article 15 by Ayushmann Khurrana and the Hollywood movie Spider-Man: far from home at the ticket windows. Kabir Singh has now crossed the crore of 250 rupees and stands at 252 crores of Rs four weeks after its publication. Article 15 has broken the crore bar at 50 rupees at the box office and has just entered its third week with collections of 53 crore Rs.
