Eleven members of the soccer team who were rescued from a cave in northern Thailand took their first steps as Buddhist novices, a gesture to honor those who participated in their rescue.
From 11 to 16 years old, they will live in a Buddhist temple for nine days, the same duration as they were trapped in Tham Luang cave at Chang Rai before being discovered by a team of divers.
