Dragon Ball Super: Broly has changed a lot compared to what the fans previously knew about the Dragon Ball franchise and added a lot new ideas for many of the pillars of the series. This is especially true for the Super Saiyan God form, which occupies a fairly important place in the film.
In addition to presenting the first animated film Super Saiyan God Vegeta, the film also features new techniques Super Saiyan God proposed by fans. not seen before. Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super: Broly suit!
The series saw Goku and Vegeta debut with new techniques almost on a whim, and this is also true for Dragon Ball Super: Broly. When Vegeta uses his Super Saiyan form of God against Broly, it's finally because he's disappointed to see how the fight had unfolded until then and wanted to end it quickly. To taunt Broly, his first attack is to throw a few bursts of air. Rather than blasts of ki, these aerial attacks act like explosions of ki and envelop Broly as energy would. This repels Broly until Vegeta sends him into the sea with a larger blast later.
When Goku uses the Super Saiyan God form, fans discover two new skills in action. One implies that Goku gathers his God ki into a sphere in the palm of his hand and he flies to Broly. He tries to hit Broly with this ki ball, but Broly is too strong at that point and completely closes his hand around the Goku attack and defuses him.
The second new technique is a little more efficient and can blow a little. in the intense fight so far. Goku pats Broly's arm, then collects the ki in his hands. After that, he completely stops Broly, his God encompbading Broly. Goku is able to restrain Broly for a while (while trying to calm him down), and this technique works pretty well until Broly adapts and wraps his own ki around Goku, basically sending back Effect on him.
Super Dragon Ball: Broly treat the divine form Super Saiyan with greater respect than the last parts of the animated series, but it revealed that Goku and Vegeta still had some turns in their sleeve when it was using the god ki in this form. Let's hope that the series will someday come back to extend the powers of Super Saiyan God even more.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly is now open in theaters around the world and already has a lifespan greater than Dragonball: Evolution .
