Get ready to celebrate the holidays with Candace Cameron Bure – again. The regular Hallmark Channel returns to the network later this year for a new Christmas film: Christmas Town . The 43-year-old actress has been participating in a new family party movie every year since 2013.
What we know up to now from Christmas Town
The Christmas Town is based on a book by Donna VanLiere published in 2016, according to US Weekly, which for the first time announced the news of the latest project of alum Full House . Several VanLiere books have already been transformed into films for Hallmark, including The Secret of Christmas and The Christmas Ticket.
Bure's latest holiday film is about a woman named Lauren Gabriel who leaves her life in Boston and ends up making an unexpected detour into the charming town of Grandon Falls, where she rediscovers the magic of Christmas.
In addition to Bure, Christmas Town will be interpreted by Tim Rozon as Travis, a resident of Grandon Falls who helps Lauren drive from the train station to the city. Beth Broderick plays a local waitress who befriends Lauren.

Christmas Town is Bure's eighth Christmas film for Hallmark. Previously, she played in Moonlight & Mistletoe (2008), Let It Snow (2013), Christmas Under Wraps (2014), A Christmas Detour (2015), Back to Christmas (2016), Permuted for Christmas (2017) and An Addict Christmas in Shoes (2018) . Two of these films – Christmas Under Wraps and Switched for Christmas – were among the highest-rated premieres in the chain's history.
Bure is not just a regular Pointer holiday. Since 2014, she also starred in the film Aurora Teagarden Mysteries on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, where she plays a small-town librarian who solves crimes. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the annual Hallmark Countdown Christmas Town is only the one of 40 original films that Hallmark plans to broadcast during the holiday season. It's two more new movies than in 2018 and a record for the network.
