Recently, the economic crime wing of Mumbai filed a 176-page indictment against Bollywood producer Prernaa Arora. The producer & # 39; Padman & # 39; and & # 39; Kedarnath & # 39; is accused of committing a fraud of Rs 31 crore with two others by another Bollywood producer, Vashu Bhagnani. In 2016-2018, the producer contracted a loan of 31 crore UK under her mother's name, together with KriArj Entertainment co-owners Arjun N Kapoor and Pratima Arora, to produce "Padman" and "Kedarnath". Later, Bhagnani filed a lawsuit against Arora in July 2018 with the Mumbai police while she refused to return her money. Prernaa Arora was arrested by the Mumbai Police Economic Crime wing last year, in December.
