The Telangana government finally issued a press release constituting a committee against badual harbadment in the Telugu cinema sector. In its GO, the government mentioned the members of the high level committee dealing with badual harbadment issues against women in the film industry.
In addition to the presidents, commissioners, and directors of various ministries, such as Women's Welfare and the Telangana Development Corporation, the committee is also composed of film personalities. The writer and actor Parachuri Gopala Krishna, the producer and actor Supriya Yarlagadda, the actress Jhansi, the director Nandini Reddy, the producer KL Narayana, the actress Preethi Nigam, the producer N Sudhakar Reddy, the directors Shankar and Tammareddy Bharadwaja were named as its members.
The GO was published, Sri Reddy thanked Chief Minister KCR in his long message on Facebook. She said that's her victory. Sri Reddy is the first actress to denounce the threat of badual harbadment in Tollywood.
