As we prepare for the takeover Avengers: Endgame let's not forget that Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Russo, and Joe Russo also have plans outside the huge juggernaut that is 'Marvel cinematic universe. On the one hand, there is the document 21 Bridges, of STXfilms, which left its first trailer today – and that looks like a cat and mouse hunt extremely intense.
Directed by Brian Kirk and produced by the Russo brothers, 21 Bridges (fka 17 Bridges ) follows a besieged police detective from New York (Boseman) who is pushed into a manhunt for a pair of murderers after discovering a mbadive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, the lines become blurred on who he pursues and who pursues him. The character of Boseman is determined to catch these killers and takes extreme measures to do so. It closes bridges, closes tunnels, seals rivers – virtually closes the entire island of Manhattan. No one could enter and no one could go out, and that could help or hinder this intense pursuit.
The film also stars Sienna Miller, Stephan James, Keith David, Taylor Kitsch and J.K. Simmons. The Russo brothers are producers alongside Boseman, Mike Larocca, Gigi Pritzker and Logan Coles. 21 bridges opened on the 12th of July.
