Charu Asopa links the knot with Rajeev Sen

Before marrying in Goa according to Hindu rituals on June 16, television actress Charu Asopa and her handsome Rajeev Sen (Sushmita Sen's brother) were married Friday at the Court in Mumbai.

Informs one of the guests present at the ceremony: "As white is the color of purity and that red is synonymous with love, Rajeev wore white kurta pajamas, while Charu wore a red sari for the wedding. Once the ceremony was over, Rajeev's mother gave Charu a set of diamond earrings. The newlyweds then went to Mount Mary Church and Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings. "

Charu says, "We wanted to register our wedding closer to our wedding ceremonies, but it was scheduled a little earlier. Rajeev's mother, uncle and best friend were present as witnesses. Registration is a formality. We feel married since the day we met. Our families will celebrate our wedding in Goa.

The celebrations will begin with an engagement ceremony on June 14th. Pre-wedding ceremonies, including mehendi and sangeet, will be held on June 15, and the couple will swap vows on June 16.
