Chris Hemsworth, whose daughter calls India, holds the country in a special place in his heart. Thus, while filming in India was "an intimidating but exciting experience," he claims to have felt like a rock star.
Hemsworth was in India last year to shoot for his Netflix project "Dhaka". He fired at Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
In an interview to IANS, Hemsworth also revealed the reason why his daughter was named after the country.
"My wife (Elsa Pataky) spent a lot of time in India and that's where her name comes from," Hemsworth told IANS during an interview with group when promoting his Sony Pictures project "Men in Black: International" here.
Apart from his daughter India Rose, Hemsworth shares the twin sons Sasha and Tristan with Pataky.
Expressing on his love for the country, the star "Thor" said: "I love the place and the people. Shots there … There had thousands of people on the streets every day and I've never seen them, it was rather intimidating, it was exciting because there were so many people.
"After each shot (when the director) called "cut", the joy was strong. We felt like rock stars in a stadium. But the warmth and support we enjoyed while shooting there, no matter how disruptive we were in our daily lives, was so good. People were so positive. I have a huge appreciation to that. "
What about working in Indian movies?
" I was talking to some about it .. .So maybe, "he said.
For the moment, Hemsworth is eager to continue the legacy of the "Men In Black" franchise with "Men in Black: International." Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release the film in India on June 14 in Hindi , English and Tamil and telugu
