Chulbul is back: the release date of Dabangg 3 is announced

Chulbul Pandey is back! Salman Khan is headed to social media to share the first poster of the third iteration of the Dabangg franchise. The poster is accompanied by the release date of the film. Dabangg 3 will be published on December 20th.

The poster depicts Salman in his police uniform. He subtitled the poster: "Chulbul is back … .. # Dabangg3 @ aslisona @arbaazkhanofficial @ nikhildwivedi25 @prabhudheva @skfilmsofficial.

Salman's brother, Arbaaz Khan, who directed the latest film in the series and co-produced Dabangg 3, told indianexpress.com earlier: "I was very surprised by the first day of the shoot. Salman worked a lot after Dabangg 2. It's been seven years, but as soon as he put that mustache and gave the first shot, I thought this man was living this character. He's just living it.

He adds: "It did not take him a second to have the same attitude and the same dialect. It was perfect. I was like: "Wow, this guy made this character his own."

Arbaaz Khan also stated that he was "aware" of fans' expectations regarding the series and character of Salman, Chulbul. "We know this franchise is very popular and Chulbul Pandey is a beloved character. We know that there is a large base of loyalty. We will do everything for the public to feel that it has something new, new and exciting. We are very aware of that.

Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Mahie Gill take over their roles in Dabangg 2.

The original Dabangg, published in 2010, was directed by Abhinav Kashyap.
