Actress Mallika Dua provoked outrage from social media by resuming the Pulwama attack in Kashmir, which killed at least 40 Central Reserve police soldiers.
Responding to online criticism of people who "lived normally" even after the attack, Dua said that people die every day from causes such as hunger, unemployment and depression, but that all world is doing well.
"Are these lives less important? Where are we insensitive? Dua questioned.
In the video posted on his Facebook page, Dua criticized the "nakli and patriotic nationalists on the keyboard" for their "performative patriotism". However, many Internet users reacted to his "insensitive" comments and compared a terrorist attack to hunger and unemployment.
