This Avengers star leaves MCU after Endgame & nbsp
Many things have been written and discussed concerning Avengers: Endgame and primarily Robert Downey Jr aka Iron Man aka Tony Stark and Chris Evans alias Captain America alias Steve Rogers leaving the universe. Every other day, a new fan theory speculates the end of their favorite superhero characters in Avengers: Endgame. But nothing has been officially confirmed either by the decision-makers or by the stars.
A few months ago, Chris Evans, star of Captain America, had hinted that he was withdrawing from Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that had been contradicted by Russo Brothers. However, we finally got confirmation from one of his outgoing MCU stars. The star in question is one of the first members to join MCU with the first film Iron Man in 2008 and has since become part of the universe.
We are talking about Pepper Potts, aka Gwyneth Paltrow. Talking to Variety, Gwyneth announced his retirement from MCU. She said,
I mean, I'm a little old to be in costume and all that at this point. I feel very lucky to have done so, because I have actually been discussed. I was friends with Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man). It was a wonderful experience to make the first Iron Man, and then to see how important it was to the fans.
However, she did not rule out the possibility of a cameo in any future movies. She said,
that I feel honored to be part of something that fascinates people so much. Of course, if they said, "Can you come back someday?", I'll always be there if they need me.
It is very likely that we will see her play Pepper Potts for the last time in Avengers: Endgame. That said, there were rumors that she made an appearance in Spider-Man: Far From Home, which appeared a few months after from Avengers: Endgame. Let's see.
Avengers: The End of the Game is published on April 26.
