In the video, "Dream Girl," Hema Malini awkwardly swept a road already well maintained. After watching the video, there is no doubt that thousands of Bharatiyas followers of the swachhta hoped that their housekeeper would not see it, otherwise they could have non-swachh ideas. Perhaps this is why social media users have been so quick to chastise and criticize poor Hema ji, to memorize his radical efforts and to attack our own Basanti for not even trying to give him the authentic air.

But I praise Hema Ji for his outstanding performance here.

In a world full of politicians like Anurag Thakur, who energetically swept all he could find right outside the doors of Parliament, one should be honestly Hema Malini. At least she was real and did not pretend!

As a leading actor that Hema ji is, do you think she could not have done a good job convincing us thoroughly that she is sweeping the heart of everyone if she really wanted it? She was trying to show the world what happens when politicians are forced to work on campaigns they do not necessarily believe in.
The result is visible everywhere in the world.

Troll it all you want, but Hema Malini is clearly one of the most authentic netas of the market. While everyone had time to sweep the litter pieces off artistically, she was the only one who seemed to be saying: kya natak hai!
For his total refusal to add to the netagiri loaded with pretensions that we see day after day. and every day, where very real problems are supposed to be swept away with a little graceful theatrical play, Hema Malini takes the ball in my hand.
At least the Dream Girl does not sell us the same tired old dream, one that's been erased centuries ago, but on which we hang instead of sweeping them away. No sir. Hema Malini plays herself without any dramaturgy – and for this brutally real performance, let's just be grateful.
