Criticism of Oru Yamandan Prema Kadha by Times of India

History: Lallu's family and friends want him married, but he never feels the inducement with a girl.

Revue: After two years of absence in Malayalam, during which he made his name in other industries, Dulquer Salmaan is back. From the beginning, it was clear that he wanted to try something new in his return film, "Oru Yamandan Premakadha". And here is how it happened.

The film is about a handful of "katta" friends united since childhood. Lallu (Dulquer Salmaan) is the king of this group of "lower clbad" youth, if you look at them through his father's eyes. The handsome boy has received innumerable proposals from girls since his childhood, but as he said, he has not yet felt the spark. His family decides to marry him, because his younger brother, a computer specialist, wants to get caught. But where to find this girl?

This is a movie mainly for fans of Dulquer. His character, Lallu, is a young painter with daily pay surrounded by comic characters portrayed by Soubin Shahir (Vicky), Vishnu Unnikrishnan (Teny) and Salim Kumar (Panchikuttan). It offers bursts of laughter in many cases, but no high-level comedy. The premise itself may not be new, but the authors have managed to keep it entertaining.

The narration is sometimes a detour with some songs that delay the story, but the pieces are good. Dulquer speaks in Kochi slang, dappankuthu's dance, is often accompanied by girls and delivers comedy liners, all in a way that would surely delight a kunjikka fan. It also has everything it takes for fans to forget about its occasional flaws. Molly Kannammali, Soubin, Salim Kumar, Vishnu and Pradeep Kottayam contribute immensely to the many fun moments of the film and keep the public interest. It also seems that many sentences of the film could go to everyday jargon. The humor involving non-Malayan workers is also interesting.

The film's heroines have little space to perform in the film, which is a complete DQ broadcast. A sensation of Tollywood is compressed in many sequences, with little effect. Bibin George could have been better used as a villain in the film which spans 2 hours and 40 minutes. Exhaustion sometimes infiltrates, especially when singing and long cascades.
