Criticism of the Super 30 by the Times of India

HISTORY: Unexpectedly, the famous Indian mathematician Anand Kumar follows his true calling and gives form to "Super 30" – a coaching clbad in Patna, designed for 30 deserving and disadvantaged students who aspire to be admitted . in coveted institutions like IIT.But will his students succeed?

REVIEW: Inspired by the genius of math, Anand Kumar, who has had an incredible success rate for admissions to the IIT year after year with his lot of 'Super 30', the film tells its motivating course by taking some creative liberties. Anand (Hrithik Roshan), a life full of controversy and hardship, literally comes out of rubble to shape her dreams. The story does not deal with some of the controversies surrounding Anand Kumar that have been reported in the media, instead choosing to focus on his struggles and his fame.

Son of a postman, a young Anand gets his admission to the University of Cambridge because of his talent in mathematics. But when he has to give up that opportunity of his life solely because he is unable to pay the fees, life hits him hard and breaks his mind. But it does not last too long, because he is chosen by Lallanji (Aditya Srivastava) to become a mathematics teacher for wealthy students in an IIT coaching center, led by him. But very quickly, his true vocation and his true pbadion join him and he realizes that he must use his skills to give bright and less privileged students a chance to succeed in life. Of course, along the way, he faces oppositions and obstacles one after the other, but never loses sight of what he proposes to do.

The Super 30 project makes it clear that education is really the privilege of those who have access and whose economic resources. Unfortunately, for many, this remains a distant dream, but if given the same chances, they have everything to shine the same way. There are many moments in the film that will move you – after the start of his Super 30 clbad, Anand must literally scratch – often with students just having to eat. But their true appetite is for a better education and a better life.

Super 30 has many sincere and inspiring moments that touch an agreement. When Anand says at one point, "Aapatti is a swishkar ka janm hota hain", you believe him, especially after seeing how much his group of students is trained, leaving behind their poor life and big daring.

But in the second half, the long duration of the film begins to weigh on the story. And some of the plot points seem extravagant and too dramatic, with the background score dominating some scenes unnecessarily. The cinematography (Anay Goswami) of the film stands out however and some dialogues hit the house.

Hrithik Roshan performs a great performance by trying Anand Kumar, capturing very well the sincerity and determination of his character. Although his physical appearance is not entirely convincing, his performance largely offsets him. Nandish Singh is serious and plays the role of Anand's brother. Mrunal Thakur is effective in his limited screen time. Pankaj Tripathi, as an unscrupulous politician, is brilliant, and Aditya Srivastava is a blast to her character's wickedness.

While the story has its faults, 'Super 30' is a human drama and the story of a teacher who triumphs over the many challenges that life throws at him, to set an example to the world. Just for that, it's worth watching.
