Salman Khan, the Bollywood actor, should feature in a song that will be a "re-created" version of Malaika Arora's famous song, Munni Badnam Hui, in Dabangg 3. The original song is featured in Dabangg, the first movie of the successful franchise.
According to a report on Asian age, Salman's character, Chubul Pandey, will be shown in a film at a university. He added that Salman will appear in a new version of the catchy dance number. The newspaper quoted a source as saying, "Munai Badnam Hui's article number" will be picked up and staged by Salman. This time it will be presented to the public with a different twist. The lyrics will undergo a radical change too. And Salman has decided to wear the overcoat of this Badnami himself and the song will be called Munna Badnaam Hua. "

Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 is also performed by Sonakshi Sinha. Parts of the film were shot in Madhya Pradesh recently. Produced by Arbaaz Khan, Dabangg 3 will see the actor Kannada Sudeep play the antagonist. The first film in the series, Dabangg, was directed by Anubhav Kashyap, while Dabangg 2 was directed by Salman's brother, Arbaaz Khan. All films featured Salman and Sonakshi in lead roles. Sonu Sood was the antagonist of the first film while Prakash Raj played the villain of the second.

Speaking of returning to the popular franchise, Sonakshi had already told PTI: "It's a pleasure to return to the Dabangg series. I hope this continues to be done.
