Dabangg 3: Sonakshi Sinha joins Salman Khan and goes to Indore, see photos

Sonakshi Sinha began filming her next film Dabangg 3 on Thursday, the 31-year-old actress, who takes back her role as Rajjo in the action film franchise for the police, went on Twitter to share the news.

"RAJJO is back! From Dabangg to Dabangg 3 … it's back home." First day of shooting for me today, I wish good luck to @BeingSalmanKhan @arbaazSkhan @PDdancing, " Sonakshi wrote next to his picture of the shoot.

Earlier this week, Salman Khan and his brother, actor and producer Arbaaz Khan, began filming the third installment of the series. The film, which will be directed by choreographer and filmmaker Prabhu Deva, will be revived by Salman, 53, who returns to his role as Chulbul Pandey.

The first part, released in 2010, was directed by Abhinav Kashyap. Actor-producer Arbaaz became a director with the second part in 2012.

Both films proved to be making huge numbers at the box office and led to Salman being the face of the franchise. Recently, Salman's video, where he was shooting for a dance sequence on the banks of the Narmada River, became viral. There is a lot of anticipation on the third installment of the film. The other cast members of the film, including the character of the villain, have not yet been revealed.

Dabangg 3 will be the second collaborative project of Salman and Prabhu Deva. The two actors had already worked together in the 2009 blockbuster film Wanted . Dabangg 3 will be produced by Salman's brother Arbaaz, who plays the role of Makhanchan Pandey in the series Dabangg . Dabangg 3 should be published next December.
