De De Pyaar De, with Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, shows a slight growth on his first Saturday. The film collected 13.39 crores of rupees on the second day of its release, bringing the total of its collections to 23.80 crores of rent at the national box office. Raja Sen in the review of the film by Hindustan Times says: "There is a real fodder for the sitcom, but the director of the debate Akiv Ali fails to find the right balance between intelligent humor and farce, creating something that is intelligent but looks (like) at a climax of Priyadarshan. "
