Ajay Devgn has no spine in De De Pyaar. She chats happily with trusted actors, Kumud Mishra and Jimmy Sheirgill, and her tender chemistry with Devgn is wonderful. Ashish and Manju met at the university and got married shortly after, which is perfect for those actors we know well: Ali does not need to specify it with an excerpt from the music of Vijaypath. As Devgn's performance shows in this film, a little restraint goes a long way.
