Popular film distributor Ajay Chandani, 48, was killed in a car accident after losing control of his high-speed bike.

Popular film distributor Ajay Chandani and financier Ajay Chandani, 48, died in a car accident today. According to reports, Ajay reportedly had an accident after losing control of his high-speed sports bike that hit the road sign around 6:30 am on Cunningham Road. The bike hit the pole and crashed against the outside wall of a building. Ajay Chandani was taken to the hospital and after struggling for his life for nearly an hour and a half, he succumbed to his injuries. Ajay was driving his all-new Suzuki V Strom 650 XT Rs 7.5-lakh bike.

Ajay Chandani is the son of the late Pal Chandani, one of the largest Hindi film distributors in Bengaluru. He is survived by his wife and a daughter. Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep spoke to Twitter and offered his condolences. He tweeted, "Very very sad to hear a prominent personality from KFI a close friend of many, Ajay's friend is no longer .It will really miss us all." During the accident, he was suspected that the stop of Chandani's car could have gone wrong, but later after the police investigation, it was clarified that the accident had been caused by excessive speed.
