Actor Ajay Devgn lost his father Veeru Devgan yesterday and film fraternity personalities came to present their last respects to the director. From Shah Rukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan, the stars have made sure to be alongside Ajay Devgn and Kajol in this time of mourning. However, some stars who could not come yesterday made their condolence visit today. This included Karan Johar, Kajol's closest friend. The filmmaker who recently celebrated his 47th birthday in New York returned to Mumbai today morning and was photographed at the airport.

Karan Johar went to the Ajay and Kajol residence in the afternoon. Apart from him, Rakesh Roshan and John Abraham also went to their homes to offer their condolences. John was injured in the shoulder after being injured while filming Pagalpanti last week in Mumbai.

The 77-year-old director of the action suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday morning and died shortly thereafter. Ajay Devgn performed the last sacraments of his father yesterday. While Kajol was spotted at their residence being comforted by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The late Veeru Devgan was the mastermind behind many stunts in films such as Hindustan Ki Kasam, Mr. India, Choron Ka Raja and Shahenshah by Roop Ki Rani. The famous director of stunts has choreographed action sequences in nearly 80 Bollywood films, his main work being made in the 90s.
