The actress Deepika Padukone, who made a grand appearance in her Barbie avatar during the Met Gala 2019, almost fell on her dress while she drank wine in the hall of a hotel. A behind-the-scenes video of the gala was put online by a fan page and shows the actress turning around in the lobby of a hotel while few people help her with her train of the pink strapless long dress from Zac Posen. And then she almost stumbled, before taking control of the situation and avoid the fall.
She held a glbad of red wine, which she sipped with a straw.
Deepika chooses a metallic pink jacquard dress with 3D printed pieces that look like embroidery designed by Zac Posen.
The theme of this year's gala was "Camp: Notes on Fashion", inspired by a 1964 essay, Susan Sontag, in which she describes the phenomenon as something we will not talk about: "Talking about Camp, so it's betraying it. "The theme was the basis of the Spring Show of the Costume Institute.
This was the presentation of Deepika's Deep Gala.
She made her gala debut in 2017 in a simple white Tommy Hilfiger dress. Last year, she was surprised by an elegant red Prabal Gurung dress with red heels.
