Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Mbadey are filming for Chhapaak in New Delhi. The two stars, paired against each other for the first time, will tell the story of a survivor of an acid attack. Deepika plays the role of Malti in the film. Chhapaak is inspired by the life of Laxmi Agarwal, a survivor of acid attacks. Over the past few days, several videos of the sets have filtered online. And now, a new video presenting the main actors kissing has been put on the Internet.

Shortly after a video starring Deepika dressed in a schoolboy uniform became viral, a fan account shared a video of Deepika and Vikrant sharing the intimate moment. We see the actors sitting on the roof for the shot.

We see the two stars sitting at the edge of a roof while the crowd is gathered to watch the scene unfold. Deepika is seen wearing a pink kurta and Vikrant wearing a greyish kurta. While the two embrace each other, the crowd cheers them on. Watch the video below:

A few days ago, a video featuring Deepika walking through the streets of the capital in her Malti avatar became viral. Before that, videos showed the crowd in Janpat becoming gaga by spotting the actress on the busy market during filming.

Given the growing number of leaks, a source told The Deccan Chronicle that director Meghna Gulzar had decided to increase security on the plateaux. "Meghna is very peculiar about her films, she does not like to give them before that, especially with Chhapaak, considering that this is a sensitive topic and a different look for Deepika, she wants to keep secret things. "She asked to strengthen the security of her next program in order to avoid any leakage of substance," said an insider to the publication.

The release of Chhapaak is scheduled for January 2020.
