Exactly one year ago, on January 25th, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's great opus Padmaavat were made public after being confronted by protests and controversies for more than a month. The film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, appealed to the public and was one of the biggest hits of 2018. To celebrate the film after a year, Deepika and Ranveer produced rather offbeat videos.

Deepika told a story about her Instagram story with the title: "Celebrate a year of Padmaavat like !!". She also shared a photo of the film shoot and asked the audience to guess the scene. ] Meanwhile, Ranveer continued with his musical avatar sharing a video clip of Padmaavat's take on his Khilji avatar, but in sync with the 2016 song, Makeba, by Miriam Makeba, South African singer and activist.
Share the post, Ranveer wrote: "CHILL-JI #throwback #khilji # 1anearofpadmaavat #makeba @ jainmusic."
Padmaavat, the story of the story of the legendary Queen of Rajput, Padmavati of Chittor , got in trouble when a Rajput group, Karni Sena, was offended, to what they called a distortion of history. The film, however, continued to make an estimated 585 Rs crore in the world collection.
Ranveer and Deepika remain as busy as ever. After their prestigious marriage to Lake Como in Italy last November and their many receptions, the couple fulfills their professional obligations. While Ranveer is engrossed in promoting his next film, Gully Boy, where he co-stars with Alia Bhatt, Deepika was in Paris for a shoot, probably for a commercial shoot.
