The actor Deepika Padukone said that it would be interesting to play an avenger in the film universe Marvel. Deepika spoke at the unveiling of her wax statue to Madame Tussauds, London, Thursday.

When asked if she wanted to become a member of the MCU, Deepika said it would be "interesting". "I mean, I would say I'm Indian, so whether it's Marvel or Avengers, or any of those iconic characters we saw at the movies, I think that would be very interesting." She said that she thought that "the world is ready for that, to see one of these superheroes, the one from India, I think it will happen soon, and I know it will."

Deepika was accompanied by her husband, Ranveer Singh, and their families at the inauguration ceremony of her wax statue, the unveiling was broadcast live on Instagram and the video showed both the Padukones and the Bhavnanis posing next to the statue, Ranveer could be seen circling the wax figure and asked, "Can I take her back home?"

Deepika was recently introduced as one of the 14 international actors from the latest issue of American Vogue Doona Bae, South Korean actress, and Scarlett J ohansson, Endgame's actress (1965), accompanies the movie on the cover of the film. She should resume her role for follow-up. The actress is filming her Padmaavat suite, Chhapaak, for director Meghna Gulzar.
