The Spotify Audio Broadcasting Platform is engaged in the Delhi High Court to remove all works owned by the Indian music label Saregama India within 10 days.

The statement was made before a single Judge of Justice Jayant Nath : The court heard Sar's plea of ​​Egama aimed at preventing Spotify from exploiting his songs or committing any act that it would be a violation of his intellectual property rights.

The Court was informed that Spotify had contacted Saregama to obtain a license to stream the musical works of Saregama. his platform. Negotiations between the parties also began and the terms of the license were discussed. Subsequently, at Spotify's request, Saregama also provided copyright on his work a month before the launch of Spotify in India.

The license agreement however could not be finalized and Saregama asked Spotify to block all of its work on the application.

Before the High Court, the Swedish music broadcasting company stated that it did not consider the dispute to be an adversarial debate. She is therefore committed to removing Saregama's content from its platform within 10 days of April 23rd. After finding that Spotify would be required to remove the contents of this statement, the court listed the case for May 5.
