The Delhi High Court has asked YouTube to remove from its platform form two songs published by YouTuber PewDiePie, Sweden
In an interim order issued on April 8, Judge Jayant Nath stated that this order should be respected within two weeks. "In my opinion, it would be in the interests of justice that these videos be removed by YouTube," said Judge Nath.
The court also asked YouTube to ensure that songs are not uploaded back to its platform. 19659004] A notice was sent to PewDiePie about the action brought by Super Cbadettes Pvt Ltd., owner of the T series. The court scheduled the case for a subsequent hearing on July 15.
In his plea, the T series asked Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, will be permanently barred from downloading the songs titled "T-Series Diss Track / Bitch Lasagna" and "Congratulations".
Super Cbadettes told the court that the lyrics of the songs were defamatory and offensive. The songs contain racist, inflammatory and hateful remarks against the Indian community and denigrate T-Series and its brand,
The Indian music company claimed that PewDiePie had put online defamatory music videos to target T-Series and the # 39; Indian.
PewDiePie was once the most subscribed channel on YouTube, but T-Series has gone beyond its channel.
The court also noted that after the publication of the first video, PewDiePie had sent a communication to T-Series and apologized for posting the same. He also said "everything was fun" and badured that he "did not consider more videos in the same direction". However, he released a new song on March 31st.
