  Denzel Washington

The gendarmes and thieves is a genre that has done rather well at Denzel Washington – he won an Oscar for Training Day . He is now seeking to return to law enforcement (though still with a decisive advantage), by starting talks to play in Little Things .

Writer / director John Lee Hanbad is busy writing the screenplay for the film, and could end up spinning if everything goes well with Warner Bros. The story follows a deputy County Sheriff of Burnt Kern, named Deke (Washington), who teams up with LASD detective Baxter to launch a serious killer series. Deke's nose for "little things" turns out to be terribly accurate, but his willingness to get around the rules takes Baxter into a dilemma that breaks the soul. Meanwhile, Deke must fight a dark secret from his past.

According to Variety Washington chooses to make this film his next film after his meeting with Hanbad, thus delaying his film making plan . to which Michael B. Jordan is attached as star.
