After invading the country with a blink of an eye eye, the first film Priya Prakash Varrier Oru 19659004] Love finally released last weekend in the theaters of the region. And the public could see his famous wink on the big screen. However, this turned out to be an anti-climax for producers since the film received largely negative reviews from film critics across India. But thanks to the popularity of Priya Prakash Varrier, the film had a good opening weekend at the Kochi box office.

According to an article in Filmibeat, the film would have started well between Kochi's multiplexes. The occupancy rate on the first day was 80%, which allowed the film to win 2,000 rupees. On day 2, however, the collections plunged with a lower occupancy rate. On the third day, Oru Adaar Love earned 1.59 lakh with an occupation rate of 44% and on day 4, the collection was 1.60 lakh with a occupancy rate of 52%.

The film has so far collected 7.48 lakhs during its opening weekend of 4 days at the box office. Please note that the collections come only from multiplexes in Kochi. All Indian collections still have to be revealed.

ZoomTV.com rated Oru Adaar Love 2 stars and wrote in its review: "The film does not do justice to the title but you can watch it to remind you of your high school years and your first crush. this is to high school romances, I would always prefer to watch Trisha Krishnan-Vijay Sethupathi 96 . "
