Abhinetri 2, a sequel to the 2016 film, is the Telugu version of the Tamil horror comedy Devi 2. The film is released in two languages with different titles and stars, Tamannaah Bhatia and Prabhudheva, who resume their role of the first film. The music of the film was composed by Sam C.S., best known for his films as Vikram Vedha, Adanga Maru and Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. In the film, the character of Tamannaah is owned by a ghost named Ruby, later even the character of Prabhudheva is possessed by another ghost.
