While the famous Met Gala 2019 unleashed a hilarious meme festival on social media, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has his own version of the gala. Diljit and his co-actor Neeru Bajwa have created a red carpet for their own "desi" Met Gala in order to announce the release date of their upcoming film "Shadaa". He took his Instagram account and published a short clip in which we can see Diljit and Neeru walking hand-in-hand on a red carpet posing for fake paparazzi. While Diljit wore a bright pink suit, Neeru wore a pink dress. He subtitled the video as follows: "Shadaa and Shadow at Desi Met Gala". The actor Varun Dhawan did not take long to notice the message and commented "Best veera".
