We are talking about director Rajiv Rai, who directed films like "Tridev" (1989), "Mohra" (1994) and "Gupt" (1997). His last Bollywood outings were 'Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat' (2001) and 'Asambhav' (2004), who failed to work at the counter.

However, after a long interval of 15 years, Rajiv Rai is about to return. Although the director has announced his intention to make a sequel to "Gupt", it will not be his first film. The thriller thriller of 1997, starring Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala and Kajol, was a hit with many popular songs. One of the main highlights of the film was that it presented Kajol in a negative role. However, he said the sequel will not take off from where the first movie ended, as Kajol dies there.

Rajiv Rai explained to an entertainment portal that he had a concept for "Gupt 2" that he might want to design in a few years. However, it will not be a sequel, because Kajol dies in the end. He added that he could use the title "Soul of the Movie" and the names of the characters, but with an entirely different story and cast. He said he would like to turn 'Gupt' into franchise if he finds a good story.
