Avengers: Endgame may only have been in the theater for a few days, but it is already breaking records and setting the tone for an incredible weekend of hundreds of millions of dollars – and , only in the United States. Disney President and CEO Robert "Bob" Iger took a moment today to thank all the fans who made this possible.
On Twitter, Iger tweeted his thanks early Saturday morning. "To all who saw Avengers: Endgame thanks," he tweeted. "We appreciate your support!"

To all who have seen @Avengers Endgame, thanks. We appreciate your support!
To anyone who has not done so yet, I highly recommend it … but hey, it's a bit of a shameless plug!– Robert Iger (@RobertIger) April 27, 2019
Disney, of course, owns Marvel (and Marvel Studios). It is therefore natural that Iger be delighted with the success of the film. Although the weekend is not over yet, some estimates put it at nearly $ 340 million in box office receipts.
Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of the film world of Marvel 2008 Iron Man starring Robert Downey Jr. in the lead role. This section of the MCU has recently been dubbed the Infinity Saga, which makes sense to the extent that it largely concerns the Infinity Stones and their acquisition by the Mad Titan, Thanos, described by Josh Brolin.
Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel is now on the bill. Spider-Man: Away from Home the next official entry into the Marvel film universe, is expected to come out on July 4.
