Tonight, at the investor conference, Disney officially unveiled a host of new details regarding its streaming service, Disney +. Among the many upcoming series and new films on the platform, the company also confirmed that Disney + would support Chromecast, or even Android TV.
The best gifts for Android users
For obvious reasons, this should not come as a surprise. Disney is one of the largest companies in the world and its streaming service will be a real heavyweight on the market. However, for the service to really take off, it must also support as many platforms as possible.
This includes Google's most popular streaming platform, Chromecast. The affordable streaming dongle is still one of the most popular devices for television, with millions of users around the world.

Also, it seems that the support for Android TV is also on the table. Although the name was not mentioned, a slide shows what really looks like one of Sony TV's Android models. The Verge also confirmed that Disney had signed an agreement with Sony for a Disney + app, thus confirming the operation of Android TV. Since Disney + will also be available as an extension for Hulu, it seems highly unlikely that the support of Android TV will end up becoming a Sony exclusive.
Disney + arrives in November for $ 6.99.
