Novak Djokovic won his battle to be promoted to Center Court for Wednesday's quarter-finals, forcing Roger Federer, eight-time world champion, for the first time in three years.

Defending champion Federer, who has played all his matches of Wimbledon since the semifinals of Center Court in 2015, the other eighth match, between Milos Raonic and John Isner, ends in the first place of the calendar of the Court 1.
Djokovic did not played only once on the center court against the English favorite Kyle Edmund in the last 32 – in the first four rounds. In contrast, Federer and Nadal played exclusively on the Central Court.
