You may have been impressed by the routine of Kathak of Alia Bhatt in Ghar More Pardesiya the recently released song of the next film Kalank ]. Chances are, Alia does not really care what you think, because she seems to have conquered a completely crazy public – her co-star Madhuri Dixit, for whom Alia dances for much of her time on screen in the song. As for dance, and especially Kathak's dance, Madhuri is unpopular and, although some have braved the word with her, very few have lived to tell it – notably Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has paid her honors in Dola Re of Devdas .
In Ghar More Pardesiya No dance of this kind has been attempted and Alia Bhatt has the floor while Madhuri Dixit is interested in her. admiringly. However, as the actress Dia Mirza pointed out in a tweet of congratulations, the presence of someone who has reigned unchallenged since Tezaab of Ek Do Teen is enough to shout the quickest of feet. "Do not ask," Alia tweeted to Dia – and we will not do it.
Do not ask !!!!!! Haha but thanks youuuu for the words of encouragement https://t.co/deJT0Yx6N3

Alia's performance has received mixed reviews from Twitter. Many tweets have lamented Madhuri's lack of dance:
You know, it's not the right time to be alive when Alia dances all over the place. song and Madhuri remains motionless. #GharMorePardesiya #Kalank

The song Kalank is so generic in sound and so strange in the visuals, you have Madhuri in the frame but you force her to watch Alia dance ?? lol at least SLB had the courage to make his Ash fans dance with Madhuri and let the chips fall where they can.

So you're telling me that you want to take Madhuri in a SLB song just to force her to watch and watch? Do not you know how to use the talent you have on hand? Also, no hatred towards Alia but I think his performance lacks a bit of finesse. But still a decent test.

Alia really put her soul and soul into the song, the scenes of Varun might be less in the Madhuri looks ethereal as always, but she missed her dance on the piece

#GharMorePardesiya Yes, it was disappointing. The song is not so good and Alia is me.
How not to make madhuri dance ?! pic.twitter.com/dgLGetR4QO– shreya (@bollyforlife) 18 March 2019
Others thought that Alia had did a careful job:
The biggest USP of Madhuri imo is its ability to move while remaining true to a complex choreo. I think that Alia has become very close. Just like PC did it in Pinga. I love my favors, OMG.

Alia was so gracious and comfortable in her . Kathak moves in #GharMorePardesiya ] He did not expect it.
His expressions could have been better if Madhuri still steals thunder– Lethally (@lethallycool) March 18, 2019

] Alia did a good job. There were a few moments when she almost did too much, but I think that overall, she did well. Madhuri was much better at lip sync at first. I can not wait to see Mads dancing! #GharMorePardesiya

Some thought that Alia's performance was not without Kalank :
. #GharMorePardesiya : Up to now overflowed by Alia. She has clearly made an effort but she does not "click" on this larger than life role. You can say that she is standing up, especially in her lip sync parts with the Madhuri effortlessly. I would like there to be a dance sequence with Madhuri.
– Strider (@StriderEl) March 18, 2019
The song is really good. Good to see old Madhuri again. Varun looked away. Katthak is difficult. Alia tried. I can not see his expressions though, because of these long shots. She lacks grace. And this part of sargam with its expressions was worthy of laughter. Major Bahubali vibes.

At least one tweet indicates that the simple fact of sharing the screen between the actresses is enough: [19659003]
Alia Bhat and Madhuri Dixit in a frame.
Magical !!– Vishal Jain (@ vishjain61) March 18, 2019
And another stated that nothing less than that would do: [19659003]
I want to see Madhuri and Alia dancing together
