Dobby, the house elf of the Harry Potter franchise, is he alive? Where is it in real life? Well, part of the internet believes him, so after a short clip featuring a creature similar to him, he went viral this weekend. Vivian Gomez, based in the United States, was very shocked when she woke up to find in her CCTV footage a creature resembling an elf strolling around his car in the parking lot of his home.

The creature, as seen in the pictures, is thin and has long ears, strangely similar to the Harry Potter character. It disappears shortly after in the clip. Vivian, meanwhile, "always tries to understand", just like the Internet. "I first saw the shadow heading towards my front door, then I saw this thing … Someone else Did he see it on their cameras? The other two cameras did not capture it for any reason, "Vivian wrote in her post on Facebook and also shared the video.

It's so scary. Watch:

Vivian's message became viral – it was shared more than an hour and collected over 35,000 "I love". Comments on his message range from people who regard the creature as an alien to a paranormal creature. "Looks like it 's ET", reads one comment while the other says, "The aliens have landed. We tried to invoke a sense of humor by commenting "Dobby came to make sure you are safe !!"

A user is of the opinion that "Maybe that's Danky the Clown". On the other hand, some are very, really scared. "MOTHER, I DEFECT !!!!!"

Well, we are not sure what this creature is. But we can tell you a little more about Dobby.

In JK Rowling's series, Dobby was abused while serving the Malfoy family. Shortly after, he was released with the help of Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter and spent the rest of his life as a goblin loyal to the protagonist. Dobby, however, was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, to the dismay of his fans.

In fact, JK Rowling had also apologized for the death of Dobby on Twitter.
